About Me
Hello! I am a biomedical and materials engineer passionate about medical device innovation and development. I am especially motivated by the challenge of identifying unmet clinical needs and turning them into practical, thoughtfully designed solutions that can make a real difference in patient care.
My background includes experience in startup R&D, prosthetics, and clinical design, where I’ve contributed to prototype development, testing, and product refinement in regulated healthcare environments. I’ve learned how to approach problems systematically, work through design tradeoffs, and collaborate closely with patients, clinicians, and technical teams to improve both function and usability.
In parallel, I have independently pursued early-stage medical device concepts, combining user discovery, iterative prototyping, and commercialization thinking to move ideas toward implementation. Earlier experience as a staff engineer also strengthened my technical communication, data analysis, and testing mindset, which continue to shape how I approach medical device development.
I am currently specializing in Medical Product Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering, where I continue building the ability to connect engineering, clinical insight, and translational strategy.

Working in conjunction with Pitt Bioengineering professor Dr. Taboas to develop a specialized, low cost delivery system for his lab’s wound healing and osteogenetic promoting composite to be used by individuals with minimal training in low resource environments.

Working in conjunction with UPMC plastic surgeon Dr. Gusenoff to develop regulatory, clinical testing, design control, and market entry plans for a novel robotic device that leverages AI to merge the imaging, aligning, and pinning components of minor hand fracture surgery.
